Medical Disclaimer
Lani Ayurveda and Leilani Jeraffi, CAP, provide holistic health education and personalized Ayurvedic protocols in accordance with the standards of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA). Ayurveda is a complementary and traditional system of medicine. We do not diagnose, treat, or cure diseases as defined by conventional Western medicine.

Clients are encouraged to maintain relationships with their primary care physicians and/or specialists. Ayurvedic care may complement but does not replace necessary medical treatment. We are happy to collaborate with your existing providers when appropriate.

Scope of Practice
We offer:

✔ Constitution-based wellness plans
✔ Ayurvedic analysis using traditional methods (pulse, tongue, dosha)
✔ Herbal, dietary, lifestyle, and nervous system recommendations
✔ Postpartum care grounded in classical texts

We do not:

✘ Prescribe or adjust pharmaceutical medications
✘ Conduct or interpret diagnostic tests beyond Ayurvedic scope
✘ Offer emergency or urgent care

Informed Consent
By booking a consultation, you acknowledge that:

  • You understand the role of Ayurvedic care as complementary

  • You are responsible for communicating changes to your health or medication

  • You will consult with a licensed physician for medical conditions or emergencies

Confidentiality
All client information is confidential and stored in secure, encrypted platforms. We follow best practices for health data security and privacy.

Cancellation Policy
Consultations may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or missed appointments are non-refundable.

Intellectual Property
All written materials, protocols, and educational content shared with you are the intellectual property of Lani Ayurveda. These may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
